Rachel serves as the Director of Finance and Operations. Born and raised in Oakland, she has encountered many systemic injustices that Just Cities aims to structurally dismantle. She is passionate about holistic support for historically disadvantaged communities and is committed to social justice reform. Rachel comes to us with many years of operations experience. Her previous experience includes Director of Operations with East Bay Family Defenders and Associate Analyst with the Superior Court of Alameda County in the Office of Collaborative Court Services.
