Gaby Sanchez

Gaby currently serves as a Community-Centered Policy and Research Manager for Just Cities. Originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, Gaby has called the Bay Area home from a young age and has a demonstrated commitment to equity and centering the voices of impacted groups in policy making . Gaby has worked as a paralegal for the American Civil Liberties Union Immigrants Rights Program and Disability Rights Program. She was previously a mitigation specialist with the Community Resource Initiative, building social histories for individuals facing the death penalty. More recently, Gaby worked with the California Domestic Workers Coalition as their Health and Safety Policy Fellow and with the Othering and Belonging Institute as a Mutiracial Democracy Graduate Student Research Assistant.

Gaby received her BA in International Relations and Economics from Mills College and her Master of Public Policy from University of California, Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy.
